Candle flame bending from a cold window draft
The hidden problem

Feel that draft? That's your heat leaving.

Tiny gaps around windows, under doors and even behind outlets let warm air out and cold air in. Your heat runs longer just to keep up, and the room still feels chilly.

The U.S. Department of Energy estimates roughly 10–20% of home energy costs are wasted through drafts, air leaks and outdated heating systems.

Questions

Good to know

Will the tape or seal damage my paint?

Both use adhesive. On painted or delicate surfaces, test a small hidden spot first. The window tape works best on clean, dry surfaces above 41°F / 5°C.

Will the door seal fit my door?

It's about 39 in (100 cm) long, trims to size with scissors, and closes gaps up to about 1 in (30 mm) under the door.

How many windows does one roll cover?

The roll is about 60 ft. That seals roughly 3–4 average (3×5 ft) windows all the way around, or about 6–7 if you only tape the leaky seams. One kit also covers 1 door and 10 outlets or switches. For a typical 2–3 bedroom home, plan on about 2 kits.

Is it hard to install?

No. The tape and door seal need no tools. The outlet seals just need a screwdriver to remove the cover plate. If you're unsure, turn off power at the breaker first.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free in the US. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and typically arrive 7–12 business days after that.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Unused items can be returned within 30 days, and anything that arrives damaged is replaced or refunded. See Shipping & Returns.
